Three days late for our monthly post sounds about right.  Yep.  We used to be on time to things.  Now we show up 15 minutes late to church because Bruk decided to be as stubborn as mommy and daddy.  Discipline is hard.  And we are on a learning curve.  By the way, this isn’t an invitation to rain down on us all the time-out vs. spanking vs. something methods.  Just pray for us.  This child is as sweet as pie and as ornery as a mule.  For example, daddy stupidly burnt his feet at the beach a couple weeks ago and they have since started to peel.  Bruk came over to me one morning and started touching my feet and making a sad whimpering noise.  Then he was gone.  Then he came back.  This time he had a tea towel in his hand and he started gently wiping my feet with it and making the same sad sound.  Where did he learn that!?  Sweet as pie.  But there are also days when he looks right into your eyes as he slowly reaches for the “off limits” item that we told him a hundred times not to touch, then proceeds to fling it to the ground.  Stubborn little…anyway.  Ain’t it funny though, that we can’t stand being away from him for more than a few hours.  We love him.  So stinking much we love him.
