This month marks one year from when Bruk became a Jackson! If you remember, we were with him during his first birthday last year. It was so special for us to be able to celebrate his birth, plus officially add him to our family! Just a few weeks ago we celebrated Bruk’s 2nd birthday up in Chicago with my side of the family. We went to this awesome Train restaurant where an actual little train pulls up in front of you with your meal. Bruk LOVED every second and is currently obsessed with his toy train from “Mare Mare” (Grandma Setter).
When we came home to North Carolina, we threw another party for Bruk (what a spoiled kid). We celebrated Bruk with our family and friends down here at “DD’s” (Grandma Jackson). We threw him a beach party and got crazy wet and dirty in the back yard. At that party we showed a video that Drew made of the past year of Bruks life. Its pretty cool. Wanna see it?…

Oh my! Why did I put on make-up this morning? I just cried it all off. This is a precious video. We adopted our sweet daughter domestically at birth. It seems like just yesterday she was that age. Tomorrow she turns EIGHT!. Sniff, sniff.
